James 1:27

One small hand
One small heart
One small dent
In the orphan ocean

We have three grandsons and one granddaughter, and soon we'll be holding our newest grandson. My daughter and son-in-law are adopting from the Congo and will hopefully have Baby M soon.

His small hand
His small heart
Their small dent
In the orphan ocean

They have worked hard to fill out truckloads of paperwork and fund this adoption.  Labor pains. Foreign adoption is labor intense in all different kind of ways. And the costs are almost unattainable. You can read about their story here: www.beforeandafrica.blogspot.com
They've received a matching grant from LifeSong Orphans, click below if you'd like to help.*

Many giving hands
Many open hearts
Our small dent
In the orphan ocean

I can't help thinking about this small boy, thousands of miles from his forever family. God knew this little one before he was even formed in his mother's womb, so we wait and trust and hope and pray and wish the time would hurry up.

Waiting hands
Waiting hearts
God's big plan
In the orphan ocean

One beautiful small moment, adding up to a big lifetime event. As the mother of three sons myself, who are the brightest lights in my life I know with all my heart, that his forever family will mean the world to him. What a beautiful thing... and I look forward to spending some time later tonight, to read their story. Thank you so much for sharing it. Those small hands and hearts grow up so quickly to do big things. What a blessing....
